- REPLACEMENT DIESELS EXHAUST FLUID RESERVOIR HEATER KIT is a reductant heater that enables the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) to function at low temperatures. DEF freezes easily and needs to be melted in the shortest possible time for the SCR to reduce the amount of Nitrogen Oxides and release them into the exhaust system lowering the concentration of nitrogen oxide in the diesel emissions from the engine.
